The Third Story * Camp Barlow * Adam's Favorites * Amy Beth's Favorites * Jack's Favorites On the noisy corner of a thriving metropolis is not a bad place to be in 2005. Things are great on this busy corner of the world. Adam and I are looking forward to a new season of camping and Jack is longing for something new and smelly to roll in. Life is good because our God is good and we find ourselves enjoying things as simple as a walk around the neigborhood or things as grand as close friends. As I write this, Adam is sitting beside me and nothing in this world makes me more at peace. He is such a kind-hearted, good man. He loves to play computer and PS2 games and it's not a rare thing to find him still at it as the sun is rising. He is my best friend and can always make me laugh. Christmas this year had us on a road trip to spend some time with Adam's family in CA. We packed Jack up into the truck, hitched on our little pop-up trailer and camped along the way. It was a very special time. The word on the street is the the Denver Barlows keep crazy hours...it's true. We have found ourselves starting to look more like the neighborhood around us. We shop for groceries sometime after 11 pm, walk the dog after midnight and I've been known to get supper on the table for Adam, Darrell and me sometime after 1 in the am. At work I take the "night shift" and deal with matters like hospital trips and emergencies that happen in the middle of the night. *** *** Please Pray With Us: For our nieces and nephews, that they will grow up healthy and safe in God's hands.
