"THEN and NOW"
The Third Story (T3S) is a ministry to neighborhood kids in west Denver. We believe and live by the Hope of the Gospel. T3S is made up of three integrated components. Please click on the logos below to find out more about T3S.
T3S has its roots in West Side Ministries, a student-run outreach of
Colorado Christian University.
West Side Ministries (WSM) launched its charity work in 1993 with a group of students working in
two adjoining inner city neighborhoods on Denver's west-side. For nearly twenty years
WSM has facilitated Bible Clubs, Tutoring, Mentoring, Music Camp and Summer
Opportunities for neighborhood kids. WSM's heart has been to build relationships that
live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. WSM eventually grew to become "The Third
Story, Inc.", a non-profit organization that was chartered in 1999. Presently we are
deeply blessed to find our home at First Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Looking for a place to SHINE? If you're searching for a way to share your heart, click for volunteer opportunities or for service projects. We are located in the heart of Urban Denver and fill the "cracks and crevices" of the basement of a 100+ year old church building. West Side Ministries (the ministry branch of The Third Story) and 1st Ave. Presbyterian Church are standing together to be a lighthouse in this city. Join us...every candle makes this neighborhood a little brighter.
