The builders were scattered and in time, I'm sure, the unfinished tower came to ruin. A mighty reminder that we are not God. Satan lied to us in the garden. His words still echo and we keep trying to believe that we could be the all-powerful. But it's a lie. The great tower lies as a memorial to this. (Genesis 11:5-9) |
