The sons of God (the line of Seth) began to pair up with woman from the daughters of men. We have a bent toward sabatoge. God makes a plan and we refuse it. Ironic how, in the end, He used our own leaning towards destruction to save us. He offered Himself as an unlikely King, we denied Him and set out to destroy Him. He laid down His life and thus saved us. I imagine that during the days of Noah, as His heart was filled with pain that He was already feeling the hollow ache of the cross. (Genesis 6:1-8)
