In the beginning...GOD. Our Great Creator has no beginning and He has no end. He is not linear or confined by time. This numbs my mind but it is one of the truest comforts of our faith. His character of justice, love and mercy are never-changing. And so the whole story begins with God. No one else. We must start here, or we will simply be reading the book upside-down and inside-out. We will analyze the words but miss the Message, the whole story will be out of of context. This isn't just literature...it's an Invitation. The very voice of God. The One who was at the Beginning. And so it starts. GOD...all-knowing and matchless, created a world, a people and a redemption plan - all for the sake of love and worship. (Genesis 1:1) |
