The EDGGe (Youth Groups and Mentoring)
The EDGGe (Everything Done to the Glory of God) is an urban youth group for kids in 6th-12th grades. We focus on discipleship, mentoring and service. Our goal is to empower at-risk youth to become Spiritual leaders among their peers and in their neighborhood. West Side Ministries offers two EDGGe ministry groups:
- Young Men's Group: Wednesday 4:00-700
- Young Woman's Group: Thursdays 4:00-7:00
We also facilitate opportunities for our youth to work one-on-one with a mentor in a ministry setting. Our EDGGe mentors are regular volunteers with Whiz Kids or Street Church who take on the additional responsibilities of having a neighborhood youth who serves as a ministry apprentice.
