Always call your student the day before tutoring to remind her that you will be picking her up for Whiz Kids. This is an essential step in helping keep our kids consistent.
At Whiz Kids we doing everything in pairs. Always pick up your student with another tutor in the car.

Special Events Procedures
Community Celebration!!
Periodically we will have "Community Celebration" where from 5:30 - 6:00 we all meet together for dinner
Tutors bring a dish to share, potluck style…remember to bring extra!
Enjoy dinner visiting with your student, getting to know other students and enjoying the company of other tutors
Choose a location to meet your driving partner. Most pairs just meet in the parking lot at the church.
Tutoring pairs will pick up their students and go directly to the library (meet in the Children's Library)
Metered parking is available on the street or you may use the parking garage (for a small fee).
DPL has a GREAT Children's Library. Let's use our time with our noses in these wonderful books. No computers!
There will be no club or snack this night (if you have a student that usually come hungry to club you might what to bring a small snack for them to eat before they go into the library).
